PEDIATRIC RESEARCH SECTION

This section provides an international forum for dialogue on matters regarding safe and effective drug therapy in infants, children, and adolescents. Manuscripts dealing with the developmental and genetic basis for drug responsiveness are highly encouraged. Because of the rapid publication process, time-sensitive topics are of particular interest. All manuscripts are peer reviewed for clinical relevance, technical accuracy, clarity, and objectivity.

Published manuscripts include but are not limited to:

Original research in such areas as hematology, oncology, perinatology, neonatology, nephrology, cardiology, anaesthesiology, infectious disease and immunology, gastroenterology, dermatology, and genetics.

Review articles on topical subjects which increase awareness and lead to future research and improve clinical practice.

Brief reports and case studies.

Commentaries providing different perspectives on published research.
